went over to D & D's house for some summer day fun. They bought a slip n slide for his girls. well they wouldn't get on it and use it. apparently didn't really know how or were afraid to chip a nail. so some of the adults (me included) had to show them how it's done. by the end of the afternoon the girls were finally wet and giggly and the adults were discoving muscles we'd forgotten about. all and all a fun day. oh, an no one chipped a nail! lol

That is a funny story. I can't remember the last time I was on a slip and slide. Did it seem shorter?
Have I told you how in love I am with the book you got me? OMG, it is the best. It was kind of a slow start fo me, but now I'm reading it almost every minute I can. I just love the characters, love the writing, love the story. It's like a big bowl of ice cream! I'm so excited this is a series. They just rescued Jamie from the prison. Good Lord! Those scenes were equal to the ankle-whacking in Misery.
Just wait for the rest of the books! It's never ending! I just wanted to lock myself in a room at work and not let anyone bother me until i finished the whole set!
